The Sunday Times gazetesinin yaklaşık olarak bir sene önceki haberine gore; İngiltere'de deli dana hastalığı patlama derecesine geldi. Lord Phillips'in raporundaki gerçeklerin gizlendiği ve et sanayiinin korunması için halkın sağlığının hiçe sayıldığı yazıldı. Yazılan bir diğer husus ise; hastalıklı etlerin, hayvan yemine karıştırılmak suretiyle diğer ülkelere ihraç edildiği yolunda idi. Hastalıklı hayvan etlerinin satıldığı ülkeler arasında, Türkiye'de gösterilmekteydi.

Başvurumuzda , verilecek cevap ile; "Uluslararası örgütlerin, hangi insanların haklarını, ne kadar koruduğunun da ortaya çıkacağını" yazmayı ihmal etmedik.

World Health Organization
on the matters of human rights, international law, environmental care, the individuals and the society. The main office of the society is in Ankara, Turkey.
On the other hand World Health Organization is a global institution, which is also well known in Turkey and in which the public trust. In this consideration we are in desire of working in cooperation and sharing information with your organization for the following subjects.
As we will all remember during our near past a disease called 'nvCJD' diagnosed that is also known by the public as the disease of 'Mad Cow', which spreads to human being by the flesh of cattle. The disease has effects on the brain of the humans resulting in loss of self-control, paralysis and consequently death.
In counties where the mentioned disease appeared any use of infected cattle has been prohibited and all has been destroyed.
Unfortunately it has been surmised that after the destruction of the infected animals in United Kingdom the flesh of these animals that carry the nvCJD disease has been converted into fodder and bait and sold to some countries including Turkey.
As a non-governmental organization we have announced that we are to carry this matter to the attention of World Health Organization, which is well known of its trustworthiness also in Turkey. Our investigation on the subject has also taken place in Turkish press. We are looking forward to announce the answer that you will provide while keeping our studies on this matter.
